REGARDING:
"Have you ever seen a good business man not make money even when taxes were really high? "

So you agree high taxes might drive mediocre business people out of business? as well as their employees?

Survival of the fittest only? Harsh on those just starting out.

Add to it the folks who get regulations which stop any newcomers from starting up and competing with them. And then you have the ones complaining there isn't a level playing field so business has to be thrown their way.....

David for all necessary taxes and regulations

Bull-crappy, Have you ever seen a good business man not make money even when taxes were really high? A free market economy is like a dog chasing its tale.

When people buy business will hire, no sales no hires. Pretty simple.

Scott is just ignorant, while he thinks he knows it all.

The people of Florida invited this interloper into their lives. I suggest that they sit down at the table and eat their just desserts. Aint it a grand old party, let the music play. Democrats no better!

REGARDING:
"If money is the root of all evil."

The LOVE of money.

Personally, I'm just fond of it - - - what I can remember of it.

David for a life less evil.

Looks like Scott wants to take us back to the good old share cropping days. He doesn't have any agenda to help the citizens. In fact all of his plans will have the opposite effect. He will attract businesses to the State that are predatory in nature, and looking to take advantage of the dirt cheap labor that will be in great supply due to the desperation created by the poverty this madman is trying to create.

If money is the root of all evil. Then by the time Gov Scott gets voted out, there will be very little evil left.

I know it is hard to cut a budget, but Governor Scott is correct in how to attract businesses here, and he is also correct in saying we need to concentrate on science, math, engineering, computer skills, and business skills. If you don't have a skilled labor base then business has no one to hire. This country is way behind in educating science, math, engineering, and business students that we need for the future. That is where the good paying jobs will be.
