429SCJ's comment is why the forefathers saw the need to keep government from establishing policy based on any one religion, for it would do so at the expense of all others, and thus erode true religious freedom. This is not a majority rule thing, for all are to be treated equally, and to do so none should receive special treatment. It doesn't matter how 'right' you think your religion is over others, no one religion is to establish laws that are detrimental to the basic rights of others of different religions, and all religions should be compromising beliefs in the public domain when it comes to adhering to the basic principles of our country, such as all being treated equally in the eyes of the government. Any law that allows the support of any particular religious organization with public funds is wrong.

I think the bulk should go to the Catholic organizations, this is why Church and State must remain separate.

I would rather the fight be about Tax Payer money going to our enemies.

Christian Organizations do the most good , use the funds more efficiently and help the most people with a higher degree of ethics than our government ever could.

As long as all the funds go to Christian organizations, it suits me just fine. I was thinking maybe the Southern Baptist in paticular. We have to be mindful of where our funding is applied.
