This is not a majority rule thing, for all are to be treated equally, and to do so none should receive special treatment. It doesn't matter how 'right' you think your religion is over others, no one religion is to establish laws that are detrimental to the basic rights of others of different religions, and all religions should be compromising beliefs in the public domain when it comes to adhering to the basic principles of our country, such as all being treated equally in the eyes of the government.
