Kids do not care, parents (in general) do not care, their kids do no wrong, they can not dicipline the kids without fear of lawsuits. Now how is it you are going to leave a teachers pay up to teens who couldn't care less about their scores?? Glad we teach in Alabama. My husband is a teacher.
