That’s exciting! This will make great family/friends outings. Pensacola has been needing something like this for entertainment. We have alot of good baseball players out there and it will be nice not having to travel to see them play!

To answer NotAgain,

You will see a better quaility of baseball with this new team. They will be on the same quaility level as the Mobile Bay Bears, Jacksonville Suns, And Birmingham Barons. The pelicans and the southern league were a joke I agree. It will be better organized and managed as they are part of the Reds organization. You will be pleasantly suprised after one game. If not I will personally refund your cost of the game ticket back to you.

Major league? Hardly. Minor league team full of benchwarmers, washouts, and wannabes. Pensacola has had 7 baseball teams over the course of history and this makes number 8. Way to throw good money after bad. Where are the JOBS and other things that were promised, like the museum?
