This is a wonderful idea, and it is the very least we could do for this town to honor him for his service and sacrfice! I totally support this!

This is the best idea I have heard in a while. We need to remember Travis, he picked up the sword and went to the fight, for all of us. Men like that do not come along everyday. The FEW.

No matter the turn out of the vote this park WILL be named in honor of him. A sign on the front of a place does not make the name, but what everyone knows it by is the name. I for one will never go to the Bratt Community Park, but I plan on takeing the kids to the “LCpl Travis M. Nelson Memorial Park as soon as we get a chance.
