At least this character got 20 years. I believe anyone who takes a weapon and assaults and threatens someone in the act of a crime should never ever be let out again. No second chances for people with only contempt for someone Else's life, because they have something the person wants. You look at the case earlier this week where the guy assaulted a Grocery store clerk and threatened to stick him with a knife over some stolen steaks, and the whole town knows that clown is trouble, his sentence was only 90 days. Some judges don't take violent crime serious at all. Guess they have been lucky and never been assaulted by a violent person with a weapon. I hate to see someone lose their life, even if it is just to spend it in prison, but better the criminal than the victim.
