They keep telling us that they are "cracking down" on drunk drivers....yeah they might be catching more..BUT..w/personal experience..1st DUI...1 yr probation/fines/counseling/lose license for 1 yr..2nd DUI..1 yr "community control"/fines/counseling/lose license for 5 yrs...3rd DUI...1 yr probation/fines/counseling/lose license for 10 yrs..yes you can apply for a hardship license & yeah you usely have to have a breathealizer attached to the car you would be driving..I just signed a paper saying a I didnt own a car..which i didnt..Now before all the lecturing..I havent drank or driven in 6 yrs & have 4 more to go.....He didnt kill any1 which would have put him behind bars..plus his prior record...which I had none...I hope he learns his lesson...lot of young people dont!!!
