ONLY HE and GOD know what has happened to him…and possibly family. I would assume the police have looked into whether any additional insurance was taken out recently or the amount increased on his original policy (if he had any)……GOD will judge him one day and anyone that was in on the scam with him (if it is indeed a scam), so nobody needs to worry or speculate, the ONLY judge that matters will judge him

There is a 7 year waiting period before collecting on an insurance policy when there is no body. If this guy is alive, trying to get away from the law and his debts, then shame on him for putting his family through this. We are not to judge least we be judged.

I still think he planned the whole thing, apparently the family is in on it too. Must be some insurance. The whole thing is stinky. I’m not stupid, and I’m sure the whole dirty truth will come out soon enough!

I think it’s a little early to assume death. Something does not sound right. Did his family not love him? They sure called in a missing report for him quickly enough for it to seem planned..

Oh yes I agree with oversight. lets add up all the clues, boats in working order, recovered in a third world country, legal problems, probably behind on this boat payment, body not recovered, and an obituary for the assumed deceased. sounds like a good insurance fraud claim. he’s probably just a litte south of mexico in costa rica waiting for the insurance loot.
