How is it they are doing more with less at Escambia County but the city of Pcola balances their budget by just raising fees? It just doesn’t make sense…Here’s another interesting face. Gulf Power made 1.1 BILLION bucks off us last year yet they needed ANOTHER 100 million to make enough profit…How is it Gulf Power can’t get by with a BILLION BUCKS but the WHOLE COUNTY OF ESCAMBIA’s budget is 1/3 of that…THINK ABOUT IT!!>>

This is truely amazing and the BOCC can still give county employees a 3% cost adjustment to offset Gov. Scott’s raid on retirement contributions. I wonder where else the budget can adjusted downward – I’d start with ECAT.
