This place is a nightmare and I agree with the website issue, completely useless! Even on the phone, you have to wait all day just for someone to answer. This is an all day thing and it shouldn’t even have to be like this. This should be more convenient especially online, but it shows that their lazy and don’t care.

The stat about 90% applying online may be true, however, the statement that they don’t use the office is rediculous. Tons of people use the office computers IN ORDER to apply online. Many have so many problems online and over the phone that they have to go to the office to resolve them. Everyone I’ve talked to that has applied for food stamps or medicaid has had to go to the office because they couldn’t accomplish what’s required for application online or over the phone. The website doesn’t even have appropriate help sources. The times that I’ve called for assistance or with questions, there was not an appropriate extension for my needs. Thanks to the website glitching, I’ve waited hours on hold and being transfered. Everyone I know prefers to go to the office, even though most of them live 20-40 minutes away in Pace and Milton. Just Rediculous. If they want to do everything online (it’s obvious that is what they are pushing), they need some serious tech help. The website is very under developed.

I agree with interested. I think other than sitting in thier office on there butts, they should get out and look at some of the homes of these kids that the parents have been informed to clean up. But the home looks twice as bad as it was before.

Well wonderful, then maybe more of our DCF agents will have time to go out and inspect the homes of the children I support. A few surprise visits will tell us a
lot more about who lives with who and if the children are taken care of or if
they just want free drug money!!!!!
