There have always been lesser sentences. Sometimes there were even no sentences because the homocide was considered justifiable, such as when you killed someone who was trying to kill you or someone else.

In this case she didn’t kill anyone herself, she just helped the killers after the fact (and not very well at that).

Seems like the world was a better place when there were only two penalties for killing someone. It was life w/o parole or death. What has happened to our country? How can a killer ever see freedom again? I guess the Billings’ life is worth less to the district attorney and judge’s life than the criminal’s life is.

In my opinion, she should have received the maximum sentence
for her role is this despicable crime.

But I sincerely hope that she is required to serve every day of the
28 years and not be credited for time already served !

I am so glad she got a sentence that will wipe that smirkey smile from her face. It was so sad to see her on the news right after the murders and her smiling as if the paparazzi were there to make her picture.

Bet her new mug shot ain’t so smiley. I think this piece of work had more to do with the murder then we’ll ever know…..and her husband as well.
