		<description>REGARDING:
&quot;are they going to do this again??&quot;

Every so often. This was the second one.

There&#039;s also Sawmill Day which allows the same thing as well as much more which is the second Saturday in May (unless there are changes between now and then).

Also note that the Alger-Sullivan Historical Society meets every third Tuesday of the month (as in 16 August, for example) at 6 PM at the Leach House museum, same location.

Darryl Searcy of Brewton will be speaking on the research he has done on local cemeteries.

Last month a Navy SEAL spoke to the group.

Previous speakers have included former brick makers from Keego, gun collectors one of whom had a John Wesley Harding pistol, insulator collectors from things like telegraph lines and power lines, authors, workers in assorted trades, a McMillan discussing family history, old scrip collections, medallions, POW survivors describing their experiences, CCC veterans of the Great Depression, civil war buffs, Geronimo--well, not him but people discussing him in the area down at Fort Pickins, Tisdale family including harp playing.

They&#039;ll let pretty much anybody attend and are a pretty good bunch of folks for the most part.
