Thanks to all who came to visit. Even though he could'nt speak well near the end, he still knew you were there. We would like to give special accknowledgement to the staff of Century Care Center for their compassionate care around the clock during his stay. The entire family was cared for beyond our expectations. This staff is second to none. It is understandable when given a choice by Sacred Heart Hospital physicians and Covenant Hospice, he chose Century Care Center to spend his remaining days. After he departed this life on Sunday evening Petty Funeral Homes came in promptly when called and was so considerate of our final moments with him. Our family has used PFH for years and they are always professional,courteous, and compassionate.We would like to remember the staff of Century Dialysis Center,another professional organization in our community. They were always willing to give us direction in his care, made numerous calls to physicians. They provided much needed councelling to Mr. Long and the family. Thank you. The funeral services were conducted exactly as dad requested. The beautiful singing and the messages by both men of GOD were right on target. Thanks to all who were able to call, visit, send flowers, plenty of delicious food and prayer. May GOD bless you all. The family of James Wesley Long. W.'s friendship and attend church with him for many years. He was such an inspiration to us and a prayer warrior for us when our son was going through cancer treatment.
