Hey Anthony. I was reading up on all your accomplishments. I’m so proud of you and I’m sure your family is too. I really hope u remember me from back in 87, when I went to Century Florida with my grandmother, Sadie, and my mother, Frances, both are deceased now, God rest their souls. Way to go cousin! I watched your career right from the beginning. you have been a great asset to the NFL. But, it is an even greater thing about there park named after you. continue to do the work that God chose you to do. you will always continue to prosper as long as you do. we all love you in Springfield Massachusetts.

I’ve never met Anthony but have heard lots of nice things about him from his high school days. What a great role model for kids in this area. And by this area I mean Escambia County Florida and Escambia County Alabama.

It’s different. If you look at the aerial photo at the top, Showalter Park is on the left with the baseball/softball fields. It’s accessed of Hecker Road. Adjacent to it, on the right of the aerial photo, is the Anthony Pleasant Park with the football field. It’s accessed off Highway 4. You can walk between the two parks directly.
