20 gram's is not that much, less than an ounce..3gun's are not a problem unless they are stolen or altered. 1725 dollar's is not that much. The prescription med's could be a problem. He is not in that much trouble, but he does need to straighten up and change his life while he still has the option.

no, no, no. Don't talk about whether or not the weed was for his own use. Convince them someobody planted it on his back porch then ratted him out.

Weed inside? No problem. Convince them the one who framed him broke into his home and planted it too.

Problem solved.

There is no gun charge-you can own a gun in your house or property.

$1,725 in cash-Who doesn't keep emergency cash. It is hurricane season. There is no law against having cash in your home.

The weed-If it was for his own use, so what. If he's selling it then hold him accountable for it. If not leave him alone.

He gets a good lawyer and pleads down to lesser charges and get probation.

Wonder who ratted him out?

REGARDING:
“they aint nobody on here but people that want 2 judge people”

Judgmental yourself, aren’t you?

AND
“That’s right David, learn them how to say correct english, If you can spell it and pronunciate it, it be a word”

If I forced everybody to speak correct English, I would have to start doing it myself. I generally only mention it when someone incorrectly “corrects” others.

Words are how we communicate with each other. Sometimes the proper words don’t exist yet, so we have to create them. Words get their meaning from usage. Webster created his dictionary not to tell folks how to talk and spell, but to report how people commonly did talk and spell.

Sometimes words are misused to confuse the discussion or the juror or the buyer. Sometimes they are simply used mistakenly in such a way as to reverse the intent or to make utter nonsense.

Long ago I read:
Cooks cover their mistakes with mayonnaise.
Lawyers cover their mistakes with words.
Doctors cover their mistakes with dirt.

David for improvements

Those of you that advocate breaking the law are probably criminals yourselves. No self respecting law abiding citizen would justify this idiot's actions.

REGARDING:
"When has pot ever been legal here? Um NEVER!"

Actually, no law was always on the books.

From wikipedia: "Regulations and restrictions on the sale of Cannabis sativa as a drug began as early as 1860. Increased restrictions and labeling of cannabis as a poison began in many states from 1906 onward, and outright prohibitions began in the 1920s. By the mid-1930s Cannabis was regulated as a drug in every state"

I was watching History channel a few months back and they explained some places started to relax regulations around the seventies but President Nixon noticed the people most vocal in opposing his administration were also associated with marijuana, so he pushed through an international treaty to override any state deregulation.

The original regulations claimed the substance had no medical applications. This is obviously false but was declared anyway. Current laws allowing use for medical purposes are still in violation of international treaty, but the current administration seems to be ignoring that. (By the way, the president has the power to throw out any treaty at any time he wishes just as President Carter did with the Panama Canal Treaty.)
