You all will soon see why certain thngs have been getting done in the Molino area. Some private interest projects cannot go further until other things come together and some rezoning takes place.Laws are made by those that benifit from them.
My wish is that someone from the true north end , gets elected. However this goes
beyond their control...they all are just pawns.Be careful what you wish for.The final result may taste very bitter.
We all have our thoughts on the way things should be heading, but the truth is that,
things are never going to be the same...and the way of life up this way is going to change in ways that none of us,except the few who have deep pockets are going to enjoy. Our community has become so devided that , I personally don't see us holding onto the way of life and values that make this part of the county so nice to come home to.
Every 4 years we are told what we want to hear.Private agendas and personal
promises soon take over ,once those who we depend on take the big chair.Enjoy it for now..it is only going to get worse..
We all reflect on the way things used to be...why is that?Because it was nice ...but
with the growth of the area...and this is the only direction left for the expansion to go....
Hold onto those memories...that will be the only thing that you will have ,that they will not be able to make aprofit from or corrupt all in the name of progress.

My daughter lives on that road and it looks great now. Such a great improvement ! My Grandfather ( Grady Albritton ) was County Commissioner in District 5 in Escambia County for years and nothing seems to change. District 5 has the most unpaved roads in the area and you just cannot keep EVERYBODY happy ! I am sure that Mr. White is doing everything he can do to keep the citizens of district 5 happy. There is onl;y so much he can do !

When White resurfaces Jacks Branch Rd and hwy 99 to the state line, he will get my attention. I predict, based on conversations I have heard at church and local restaraunts, Sammy Archer will go in by a landslide. There certainly seems to be hope, and optimism in the air.

It's going to be interesting to see what kind of negative spin some of the "White never gets any thing done for the North end" group try to put on this. One of the key words in this was the county was able to get the easements they needed. I know of a number of dirt roads that some of the people who live on them would like them paved. Other owners will not give up a small amount of their property for the paving--- the county spends the paving dollars some where else. The county is not always the bad guy, some times it's our neighbors and friends.
