I would say this statement were true if Scott were a true Repubublican (which he isn’t,) nor is he a true Tea Party member. What Scott is, is out for himself. If he can find away to turn a state buck toward his own pocket it is going to happen. You may not realize but one of those places the “Health Care Excutive” has been on that private plane is making a statement before the the Health Care Committee researching his company’s actions in past years. Hmmmmm, I was always taught, “if it looks like a duck and smells like a duck it probably also quacks!” Mr. Scott, you are out to line your own pockets! Mr. Scott, you sir are a DUCK!

Actually and directly, nothing. Yet people act as if every member of a political party is guilty of any sins committed by that party—as long as it’s a different party. Misdeeds by members of our own party are simply the misdeeds of the individual.

Anyway, if the results of President Obama’s actions in his first two years in office had been more positive, attitude toward his party would have been more positive. Since everything didn’t become perfect instantly, his party got the blame. This led some to distrust all Democrats and vote for whoever was the Republican candidate. Now as to how he got to BE the Republican candidate, he had his mother tell us he is a good boy and he convinced his fellow Republicans the alternatives within the party weren’t all that hot.

Lots of people mistakenly think his money directly got him elected. Money HELPED, but wasn’t enough by itself to get anyone nominated and/or elected. That’s where the backlash against President Obama came in to play.

Historically, it’s fair. After all, Senator Obama ran against Senator McCain by painting him as another President George W. Bush, who was unpopular at the time–this despite the many differences between the two.

(By the way, Governor Scott claimed the high speed rail didn’t have enough potential users to pay for itself, and I believe that was true–much like a failing local bridge, ice hockey team and our Civic Center. Things like that eat up our future.)
