She certainly has some credentials, and has been around the block. I hope Ms Messinger’s arrival, will improve conditions, for the animals of Escambia county.

they do need to teach the employes some manners, they are rude. i had taken in a dog i found on the side of the road. and the guy in the back was giving the dog some wormer meds by mouth, and he got it on my pants and shoes, cause he was just being sloppy about it. and didn’t even say he was sorry. i then ask if he had any towels and he said no.it’s sad cause you could tell he hates his job.so mabye things will get better down there.

Wow! I am impressed.
I hope that she plans to educate the staff. One animal control officer asked my neighbor how he could tell which goats where billy goats … “Is it the hair on their chin?”
Those of us in North Escambia have different issues than those living in the more city-like developments.

I so hope for changes at the animal “shelter”. They have a thankless job, true enough, but there are some hateful people there. Maybe she will up the PR for getting animals adopted.

Sounds well qualified, with some interesting background experience. We are probably lucky to have her. maybe we can get some much needed changes for the animals, like a few more adoption programs and maybe some TV interviews with her to highlight the need for people to adopt some animals!

She appears to be well qualified and is probably over qualified for dealing with a few employees and county’s stray cats and dogs. With her big city background and all, I wonder what her salary will be for being Escambia County’s “head” dog catcher.
