century has suffered a major loss with nadines death. she worked for century for one reason.she loved it and wanted to improve it.my prayers are with the family

I believe God gave Nadine a double portion of love and compassion for other people. She would always go that extra mile and never complain. I am not sure I have ever met anyone who had the love and concern for this town that she did. She will be missed so much. I hope the town will continue to work and make her dreams realities. Nadine, rest in peace and no you are so loved by your family and friends.

I am so glad to have known Nadine over 35 yrs. She has always been the same – laughing, loving and caring all these years. She has been a wonderful wife, mother and friend. People like Nadine are few and far between – it’s those we miss the most! She didn’t change her attitude and disposition because of any position she attained – she has always been the same. Our prayers are with Eddie Wayne, Juanita and Felicia. I’m thankful you had some quiet, special time at the end to let each other know how much love was in your hearts. You are a very special family and I feel proud to be a part of it all these years.

At times God will bring someone into your life for a specific reason. Nadine was my person. Nothing in common, did not grow up together, did not go to school together. But the first time we talked the “connection” was there. We laughed, we cried, we complained, we “discussed” political subjects, we made jokes, and we bought jewlery (not expensive stuff). We seemed to want a lot of the same things for Century and we tackled what we could to get the job done. Nadine is like the sister I never had but always wanted. I will love and miss her always. She will be in my thoughts as new projects come along and no doubt wisper in my ear when she thinks something is not quite right. So thank you God for giving her to me no matter how short the time was. Maybe she will meet me at the gates and we can fill each up on what has been happening.

The family should be extrememly proud of what she has accomplished in her life, and the town should honor her for all she did not only for keeping the town going but for all of the individuals she personally helped when they had no where else to go to. Nadine did not need to know why you needed help, she just did it.

The only way I knew Ms Nadine was through her work at the Century branch of the West Florida Public Library. I am in there once or twice a week.The strength of that facility is in the people who work there, their kindness, and their desire to help their patrons.

Ms Nadine was the epitome of these qualities. She was always kind to me and she had something pleasant to say. She was a joy to the library and will be missed. God bless her family through this most difficult of times.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words. The loss of my mother has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled. She struggled for a long time, and now has peace with our Lord. We truly appreciate the prayers for her and our family as a whole. May God bless you each and every one.

Dianne and I will miss Nadine very much. She was a great friend to me and a great new friend for Dianne. Unfortunately we had to move and didn’t get to spend as much time with her as we’d have liked. Our condolences to all the family. May God bless you all as you go through this trying time.

Thank you all for you love, prayers, food, donations, and being there for my mom and my dad during this very hard fight with cancer. She lived in excruciating pain for the last 5 months, and you all made it a little easier with your support for her. Thanks again.
