REGARDING:

‘Twould be hard to do considering:
“Congress shall make no law – - – abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; – - – ”

The press gathers information and sells it to anyone interested. (northescambia.com GIVES it away.) You can’t outlaw it until you amend the Constitution to allow you to outlaw a free press and freedom of speech.

There is no real privacy outside our own homes and most people have even hooked our homes up to the outside world such that our water consumption, power usage, gas use can be read from outside our homes. Our credit card company knows what we buy, whether they sell it or not, they KNOW. Some people talk and/or yell so loudly that people a thousand feet away can know their business whether we want to or not.

There are places on the internet where you can “buy” information on practically everyone in the US. Any entity should be stopped from gathering and selling citizens information.

I have never been a fan of the ACLU, but this is atrocious. This is one of the most blatant cases of Invasion of Privacy I have ever witnessed. It should be stopped immediately.

It really makes you wonder why the state was allowed to sell my information and exactly who they sold it to! I guess you can not trust the state anymore to keep our information private!
