It is frustrating when the power goes out, I am sure the power company is doing what they can to try to prevent it. When the weather comes through and causes the outage that is out of their control. I am just happy that they do respond when they do, try getting that type of response from the phone company, it takes a couple of days to get that repaired. When the power is out we are not using any so at that time we are not being billed, unlike the phone or cable company that charges a base rate.

we were riding horses outside last night when the transformers blew. that was the scariest thing I have ever seen without knowing what it was! The entire sky lit up at 945 at night a bright teal and blue color. all of our lights dimmed at the barn as well. very eerie! so glad it was just a transformer =]

I have never lived in a place that has power loss like Molino. Our power is always going out and seems to be staying out longer each time. Do we need new power lines in Molino? We need help! Last night we lost many things in our freezer like ice cream and hamburger meat. Of course, Gulf Power will not reduce our bill for two nights with electric!!
