My mom is a firefighter/ emt and was among those fires last night and I want to say how very proud I am for what she does amd why she does it. She, along with 100 other people all had something else to do last night but chose to save homes. Thank you for all te support you are showing our volunteer firefighters.

It’s pretty much “burned in” — the areas that are burning are surrounded by areas that are already burnt. So far, it’s not expanding at all this morning.

They are out on 113 and other areas extinguishing areas that are putting smoke over highways.

It’s so dry, everyone needs to be careful no matter where they are.

GREAT job responding Firefighters and other personnel . Outstanding job getting these massive fires under control.

We, myself and my husband, travel Hwy 113 during the week. I was shocked to see such a massive amount of smoke yesterday afternoon. Did not see any flames, but you could tell this was bad(had the potential to be bad anyway) by the amount of smoke seen. I was surprised this morning when we came back thru to see all the houses remaining and in good condition along Hwy 113 (not sure about off the main Hwy).

Thanks goodness everyone close to and invovled in the fires is fine.
