He stated he was at the store to get ice when he was attacked. I’m sure he was getting ice for the shut eye and busted he had already received.

Surely there’s some Christians in Century. Such would at least consider:
Romans 12:
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

If one were to reject that–as so many do, there’s the words of Major Payne:” You don’t never hit no women!” But maybe it was one of the other two who did that.

Other than that, I’m sure he did “the right thing” but how did the right thing cost him incarceration and cost of bail? I’m fairly sure there are some people in Century who do the right thing without picking up a single dumbbell. Maybe they just aren’t as creative–or they took the former advice.

ppl that dnt know the story dnt need to comment. They jumped Myles earlier that evening so when he seen them later that night he got his revenge. Thats how it is in century. You not suppose to let nobody beat u up and get away with it. Myles did the right thing by beating him with the dumbbell.

I would like to know the motive of the attack. Was there anything stolen, did the couple know Mr. Myles or the two other gentlemen involved. What happen to the other two attackers? I sincerely hope justice will be served. And if Mr. Myles was truly the attacker, than more power to the husband to try to knock some since into Mr. Myles….and most importantly the husband defended his wife.

Simply amazing to me that some one whould actually try and defend the actions that occured here. Let me see according to the story this guy had the dumbbell and the husband and wife had nothing and all of a sudden he is claiming they jumped him. Yeah right! There is more to the story than that. I for one will be following this one to see all the facts and the end conclusion.
Finally I have to say I would have done the same thing as the husband I would have fought back as well with what ever was at hand. One has to protect his or her family by what ever means when something like this happens.
