Hello JustME, I can deal with bacterial contaminates from old septic tanks, it is dioxin and who knows what else? I do not know what classes of waste will be disposed of there, but old televisons, batteries and motor oil ect are bad enough for me. I guess some of these people live in unaffected areas and do not care. 429SCJ for Bad Cattle! .

I personally think they are wasting there money fighting this. As for the contamination, you got more contaminants from non conforming septic tanks and raw sewage running on ground. Until the fine state of Alabama enacts state codes, there will always be problems.

Take a look at this history of Mr. Stone the big shot behind this land fill. He is from New Hampshire and I have looked at their county records online. He has liens and judgements against him like a rash going back decades. Then if you look under corporate filings you can find his corporations dirty dealings. He has a judgement from the EPA of several million dollars from some dirty deal he did in New York state. Made a mess up there and had to leave. So basically, he has come down here to dump trash on us to pay for his mess he left behind up there.

The good lord only knows what concoctions will be dumped there, This is a bad thing. I think somebody better call all the local bands of Creek Indians on this one. We need their lawyers to fight these judas betrayers.

Some one needs to get the town of Jay and Santa rosa county involved with this also!!!!! The River feeds part of that County too.
