big escambia creek is only a few bends up the river from fishers landing. the landing is on hwy 4 in century on the left hand side right before you cross the river bridge

Hello Scotti, where is a ramp to launch at, to get into Big Escambia Creek, I want to head toward Sardine, when the water levels come back up.

if you think cotton lake is steep you should launch at mystic springs or fishers landing they make cotton lake landing look flat

Dear Confused, If you wait for the State to fix it, it just wouldn’t get fixed! It might get replaced by the State, but that would take 10 to 12 years down the road. It’s just the way things are.

I’M GLAD THIS GOT LOOKED INTO FOR REPAIR BEFORE IT BECAME ANY WORSE. ALOT OF PEOPLE USE THIS RAMP AND SURROUNDING AREAS. I’D LIKE TO SAY THANKS TO OUR COMMISSIONER KEVIN WHITE FOR HELPING GET THIS DONE.

I have backed down some steep boat ramps in my years, but with the exception of Ruby’s Fish Camp, Cotton Lake beats them all. I hope the county engineers do something to lessen the gradient of that ramp, it is scary!

why is it the county is fixing a state owned and run boat ramp when they are complaining of budget restraints that prevent them from fixing county roads and drainage problems now dont get me wrong im glad the boat ramp got fixed just confused on why county used its labor and moneys to fix state property
