When I graduated, it was a requirement to participate in the baccalaureate service...if you did not participate you did not "walk" during the graduation ceremony...end of discussion!!! And for the record, when I graduated (mid 80s) the baccalaureate service was held ON school property! And to "BIGDADDY", the answer is that you can NEVER take God out of schools. This is such a myth that the Devil wants to hand to people...God will always be in schools (and every other walk of life)...the question is...HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO STOP ACKNOWLEDGING GOD IN OUR SCHOOLS??
