This is not too unreasonable a concept, however the huge tax used to fund public education HAS TO CHANGE......it is unfair to commercial property owners who have no children in school and already pay and collect sales taxes. It would be fair better to have a flat tax per resident or higher sales tax to garner these funds from. You really don't own your home even when it is paid off. You RENT. If you can not pay taxes (rent) you loose it.
