Your father was exactly the same age I am. I have cancer, but at least my family has been given time to adjust to the idea that I may not be with them much longer. Your family's loss was sudden and I know it must be almost unbearable. Isaiah 57:1 says: "The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come." Remember that. Your father left this life instantly. He was spared the evil that may have come. I hope that thought brings you some comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, Carl.
