I knew him so long ago and loved him deeply. He was so sweet and gentle. He may have needed some help but the ones closes to him should of seen that he received it. That is what love and family is about! I am so grateful I had him in my life for a season! I only wish I could of found him to tell him how special he was before it was to late!! RIP my sweet Joe!! REGARDING:

And since so many simply won’t concern themselves with the feelings of the families, please consider not doing things which will embarrass them if reported. For example, “During the negotiations, the suspect fired numerous rounds from a shotgun inside of his residence.”

That just doesn’t look good. So unless you are trying to embarrass them, please don’t do such things.

This man may have had some problems, but he also had three beautiful children who loved him and a wife who is in shock!!! He was a member of my extended family with many people who loved him. I knew Joe as a teenager, and his family as well. He was always troubled but never violent. I think he was in dire need of mental help all along. I thank God that he didn’t injure those deputys or anyone else, but to tell you the truth, he probably never intended to. I think the term is “suicide by cop”.

Even if you need to cry out for help this is not the way to do it.
Suicide by cop I would venture from the sound of it.
Sorry the officer had to endure putting this guy to a permenent sleep,
then again it is their job. What I don’t understand is WHY there would
even need to be an investigation, or at least not much of one. Sounds
pretty cut and dried to me.

THANKS LEO for a job well done, he had a choice and he got his way.

I wonder if this was the same couple that were having a domestic dispite yesterday morning around 6:30 at the Circle K on 9 mile Road and University Parkway. Cussing, yelling, peeling out in the parking lot, playing road block with each other vehicle, and acting like you are going to run over your female friend-girlfriend, Had me blocked in for a few minutes before they took off out of the parking lot peeling rubber and cutting off people on 9 mile road. If you can’t get along then just leave. No one is worth dying for.
