Congratulations, Ashley! I know your grandmother, and your dad used to ride my school bus. He was such a cute little thing. LOL. In this picture, you are quite a bit older than he was then. Hi Andy. Love you. # 72 ;)

I too would like to say congratulations to all of the youth participates in the Spring Livestock Show . . . . but I can’t say that I fully agree with G. Harris when he/she suggested that we need “to tell everyone to hold their county commissioners to the fire about finding another property for our FFA/4-H members”, maybe the heat shouldn’t be directed only at the Escambia County Commission. The Escambia County School District, who is responsible for the FFA programs within our county, owns a fairly large wooded tract of land on the south side of the NEP facility on 9 mile road, another large wooded tract between the schools at the Ashton Brosnaham Park off of 10 mile Road, and another tract of farm land adjacent to Ernest Ward Middle School in Walnut Hill, all of which are somewhat underutilized by the school district at this time. Maybe the heat that G. Harris refers too should also be brought to bear on Superintendent Malcolm Thomas and the members of the Escambia County School Board, especially when one considers that FFA members are participating in these activities also!

Congrats! He is a beautiful steer. Make sure to tell everyone to hold their county commissioners to the fire about finding another property for our FFA/ 4-H members. They need to know we are watching and listening as they continue to sell off what is ours. God Bless You All!!!!!
