Hey, I just saw someone from T-town post that they are in need of CAN OPENERS! Everyone is bring so much canned-foods, but not enough can openers!! If you have an extra, donate it or if you can, go to the dollar store and buy a few of them to donate, I think they're only about $1.00 or $2.00!

Atmore Ambulance is also a drop point for items in need. We have contacted Flomaton VFD and we are accepting drop off's now until 1 p.m. tomorrow at Atmore Ambulance (212 N Main Street, Atmore).

The United Methodist Church is gathering cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, diapers and gift cards to send to the areas impacted by the tornadoes. Pensacola First united Methodist Church on Wright Street has been designated as a drop off site, and will be sending a truck load of supplies on Saturday, with other shipments to follow later.

North Escambia residents can drop off relief supplies at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on Highway 29 in Molino. Please note that we are NOT collecting food, bottled water or clothing because these needs are being met by other agencies like FEMA and the American Red Cross.

I want to thank everyone there for your donations that will help so many up here. We ourself were spared any damage, but right down the road, a family of 5 lost their home and their lives. The devestation is heartbreaking. While out taking gas and supplies to those who needed it, I cried my heart out. My immediate community was spared, but so many were not. Being without electricity is a mere blessing, because I am here to be "camping" with my family...... I had all the necessary items needed for a 3 week emergency on hand as I always do, so supplies for us was not a main concern immediatly, helping those without the suppliies is.

Continue your prayers as we all work together, it is still dangerous out here i n the aftermath. I thank all the National Guards folks I have seen that are her to protect us!!! Felicia in Arab Al
