Does the military defend them better than you? Do they have priority usage of the roads? Does the Department of Education give their children better educations? To be honest people would have to admit they want the richer to pay more because they are jealous of them. AND “- - and these gas prognosticators would stop raising gas prices“ They don’t raise prices. If they did, how do you explain prices dropping sometimes? What some of them do is buy what they can afford under the assumption someone will want to buy it from them later. This isn’t essentially different from what a convenience store does. If somebody else is offering to sell it two or three cents cheaper than they are, they don’t sell it at all. They are risking their property to supply the needs of others. People can't afford to live even with a job. If the super wealthy would pay their fair share of taxes (yes that means ending the Bush tax cut for the wealthy) and if the loopholes for business and extremely wealthy were ended, and these gas prognosticators would stop raising gas prices, then we could really get serious about making a real long and short term plan for getting America out of this credit slump that will ultimately lead to our country falling apart. Folks who cheat their employers....are low on the totem pole with most of the hard working folks!!! It disgusts me to no end when I see this happening!!! To those who don't give 100% to the job they were blessed with better get ready to stand before the Sinless Saviour for your poor stewardship!!!!! I don't know about you,but I've got a lot to stand before Him for,so I won't add that to my list!!!! It is a shame that their importance is not better recognized as they are charged with such a tremendous duty -providing a proper foundation for our young. I think Escambia ranks at the bottom of teachers salaries in the state of Florida. They even cut back the amount those teachers who worked to become National Board Certified back by over $600 for 2010. Like everyone else, our medical copay increased 50% as well as prescription cost went up. Alabama is heading in the same direction as Florida in regard to 'due process' and professional contract.
