not just that but a drug dealer kid. After all, people who buy and sell things in drugs are drug dealers. He didn’t destroy the kid’s innocence, but he did better arm a drug dealer. That could be dangerous as shown by how the gun shot out a deputy’s tire.

first of all..there is a reason why they are called dumb criminals…they are dumb.

second…this guy has been in trouble all his life and so has his brothers… so three years is nothing to him. he should have gotten more time.

and last, giving a KID A GUN, shows the courts what type of person he is they should’ve made an example out of him to let others know doing a crime don’t pay and doing a crime that involves a child will put you away for a long long time.

Weapons, drugs, and stupidity does not go well together. Maybe now he has some time off from society and his enviroment he will get clear minded to stop and realize what he has done and not d it again. I hope. A man his age kew better than to combine all those things together. So, it sounds to me like he got what he earned.

What I meant by my comment was that he sold the gun for marijauna most likely because he wanted to smoke it…if he had just bought it with cash this never would’ve happened.

A bill of sale? Really? So the gun-for-weed transaction got a bill of sale….

… bet he pays taxes on the LLC he sells weed from….

This is a strange little story right here…

First note this;

Upon investigation, he discovered a .22 caliber pistol in the middle of North Century Boulevard. When the right rear wheel of the deputy’s cruiser rolled over the weapon, it had fired a round, flattening the tire. Next to the revolver, the deputy discovered one empty shell casing and five live rounds of ammunition.

Then check this out:

“. The 16-year old told deputies that he had purchased the gun from Simmons with a $40 bag of marijuana, and he provided a bill of sale.”

A bill of sale! So he wrote out a bill of sale on this gun-for-weed-to-a-kid transaction… You can not make this stuff up.

That’s a very light sentence. He should have got that just for being a convicted felon with a firearm and another 10 for trading it to a ladarrious for weed.
