I guess Flomaton Man forgot to check his statistics. So here are some for him to take a gander at:

The SEC leads the Big 12 in all-time head-to-head match-ups with a 24-17-0 (.585) record.

National Championships:
SEC -18
Big 12 - 16
Big Ten - 13
ACC - 9
PAC 10 - 4
Big East - 3

The SEC has now won 5 straight BCS Championships; 6 of the past 8; 7 since it began in 1998. That's more BCS Championships than all the other conferences combined!!
Maybe most significantly, the seven SEC BCS Championships were won by five different teams (Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Alabama and Auburn). In the BCS era, no other conference comes close to that depth. And let's not forget 2004 when Auburn went undefeated and did not even get consideration for the national title picture.

And FYI, the Big 12 that you are so adamant about, their non conference foes include teams like Tulsa, Ball State, Miami(OH), Western Illinois and Stephen F Austin. Not very much in the area of powerhouses are they?

So Flomaton Man, do you still think that the SEC is a cupcake conference? I would match any SEC team against any other team in the country and place my bet on the SEC team.

I think "Flomaton Man" must not even watch college football. He probably claims to be a Longhorns or Buckeyes fan even though he does't even watch them play. By the way, both powerhouse teams from Big 12 and Big 10 were beaten by SEC teams. Buckeyes finally won a bowl game against the SEC to not make it 10 losses in a row. Usually at least 9 SEC teams make it to bowl games too. So accourse some of the lower level teams lose in bowl games from time to time but they are playing some of the better teams in other conferences.

You are obviously very misguided. All conferences are required to play x number of games within their conference. Outside conference games can be scheduled with any other team from any other conference. Ole Miss has scheduled an out of conference game against East Carolina, a perennial powerhouse in Conference USA and LSU has scheduled an out of conference game against Oregon, you do remember Oregon don't you, last years PAC 10 winner and Auburn's doormat to the National Title in the BCS Championship game.

No other conference in NCAA football can hold a candle to the SEC. They are the most powerful college football conference in the nation, always have, always will be.

This coming from someone whose favorite college team is not even in the SEC.
