I’m going to leave a thought here:
We’ll see who gets those iPads, who uses that technology, and whatever else they’ve bought with this money. Honor students, the ones who could benefit most in my opinion, don’t get to see any of it, that’s for sure. They already have doc cameras in almost all the classrooms.

But anyway,

Only the Atmore area schools were given the earlier donation. Escambia County Alabama schools were not, but had the opportunity to make requests for the latest round of contributions.

Re-read the article and you’ll find that back in December schools in Escambia County, Alabama were given well over ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

This is wonderful news….for Northview. BUT.. the last time I looked the Casino was in Escambia County Alabama, and it was Alabama’s Governor who wanted to shut it down. Perhaps a contribution to Escambia County High in Atmore or Flomaton, or T R Miller would impress Dr. Bently. Just thinking out loud.
