They have this guy on video doing what he did. They had enough reason to install survelilance in that place. Don’t make the excuse that he was always nice to you. Ted Bundy was nice to all of his victims. That’s how he got them to go with them. Do you think in order for him to be guilty he should expose himself to everyone he meets? Look at all the priest. How many people can and will say they were nice to them? I’m sure it sickens anyone who has been a victim of psycho behavior like this. Yeah he was nice to you but he was not to her.

Legally, there is no need to prove innocence since that is legally assumed. Socially, it would help if neighbors were convinced it never happened. It’s one thing to not be convicted in a court of law, it’s another to retain the respect and trust of others.

Most of us don’t know the man or whoever his accuser is. We will soon forget it ever came up–no matter how it is settled.

Let me just say that I strongly believe that these allegations are false. Like a previous post by someone else, unfortunately in these types of cases, you have to prove your innocence instead of what our founding fathers set up our judicial system for. Innocent until proven guilty is what it should and is. For those of you all who are instantly wanting to convict, place your feet in his or someone elses shoes who has been accused of something like this. I bet you wouldn’t like the feeling either. Remember we are all human and unfortunately there are a lot of false claims of this type of nature, which unfortunately takes away from the “real” cases where this happens. Just because someone is arrested by an allegation doesn’t make them guilty. They are just meeting the lowest form of information necessary to make the arrest based on the accusers statement. The SAO decides whether to file charges or not based on the initial investigation and evidence at hand. Hopefully they will see that during this man’s career and dealings with countless women in the work place, the allegations are false and no such prior allegations were made. Her allegations sound fishy not the bond amount, which is right based on the standards used by the courts and jails.

There are soooo many issues here. He said / she said is rubbish! There is an allegation. Regardless of whether it is true or not, it MUST be taken seriously. This investigation was launched in January….they have done their research. There was enough evidence to incarerate. Whether there will be enough to prosecute or acquit will not be decided any time soon. Whether he was a good man, kind man, friendly, helpful, etc., is not the question. Remember, the BTK killer lived a “normal” life for over a decade before getting caught. You just never know. The woman, I read in another post, was considered a “loon.” Perhaps yes, perhaps no. Not the issue. She could be the worst person in the world and he STILL could have done something wrong.

The final settlement, after appeals, representation, etc., could be over a year away. Someone said that his name and address should not be given. If a year passes between the day he was charged and the day he must face his settlement, and his name was never given or picture shared….what if he were able to assault someone else?!

Granted, the press jumps on stories like these for the sensationalism. But the reason the accused is published is for transparency. I only wish that the press would follow the case through and give the news when someone is found “not guilty” as often as when they find them “guilty.”

Finally….and here is the scariest part of all…..regardless of guilt or innocence…. the union or postal inspectors, or lawyers, or investigators, or the accused or the accusor …..any one of them at any point along the way could share something that makes or breaks the case against the accused. A settlement could be reached. A guilty person could walk away free and clear if enough evidence is not substantiated. An innocent person may settle for a lesser charge simply because of how weak or strong his case may be.

You will never know what really happened. What is settled is not always what took place. Fortunately, the USPS Inspection Service is a top knotch investigative group….I hope both the accused and the accusor are able to find peace.

This man has always been friendly and helpful in the dozens of times I have done business with him. In fact, I can say that I have witnessed him do favors over and above what was required by his job. Before folks start hollering for a rope, let’s wait to see what direction this goes in.

low bond is not unusual when someone is not considered a flight risk.He won’t run cause he’s not quilty.the female character has the reputation of being a loony and all the locals know it.Jim would never get hard up enough to even breathe on her!

If she is telling the truth her life will never be the same. thats not something that just goes away. And if he just walks free she will know that he is still out there in harms way of everyother women out there.. Does anyone Think about what she is going through???

DO NOT JUDGE HER SHE IS PROBABLY TELLING THE TRUTH,. I HAVE WORKED FOR THE POSTAL SERVICE FOR TEN YEARS AND HAVE WORKED WITH JIM LEE SEVERAL TIMES. ALTHOUGH HE DIDNT GO THAT FAR HE WENT FAR ENOUGH. AND THE POSTAL INSPECTORS WOULD NOT GO AS FAR AS HAVIN HIM PUT IN JAIL IF THEY DIDNT HAVE HARD EVIDENCE. BE STRONG GIRL JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL……..

i am sorry i should have said some of you. i see not all think he did it are is waiting to hear the whole story . yes i would like to see him proven Innocent but his rep.will never over come this. and this disgruntled employee will just go on with her life as it never happen. it just not fair to put someone out there like this with just he said /she said info.
