And as for teachers, a great majority of the students graduating from high schools here in Florida cannot even read their protest signs. Are you aware that students in Polk County are watching video movies in class?? That “Legally Blonde” is being shown as an approved part of a civics curriculum? That “Avatar and GI Jane” are considered by these teachers as an appropriate use of class time by an ROTC teacher?? The waste and corruption in the school system is draining the taxpayers and producing generations of functionally illiterate individuals who are qualified no more than lying on their parents’ sofas, playing video games and “tex’n” (their lingo, not mine).

And, finally, cudos to you for standing up to the bullet train brain trust! Let Disney, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, Sea World, the hotels and all the other multi-million dollar corporations who might stand to benefit from this PAY for it. Why should the tax payers, most of whom can’t afford to go anywhere but to work if they’re lucky enough to even have a job, have to bear the financial burden of this. Let those who want it pay for it!
