You have a point ART/ I hope they read it.

All they really need to do is go to one of our schools and sit in on the class
rooms for a few days and they will see the problems facing our teachers,
however, by the same turn, scott is not that old. Sure he can remember or
he at least can remember his childrens problems in classrooms with
the monkeys who don't want to behave, do homework, show respect,
or LEARN, and who's parents are not that interested in their childrens
education or that they learn to behave in polite society.

Rick Scott had so many people drinking the "Let's get to work" koolaid. Well, to all those educators and state workers that voted for him. How's the koolaid tasting to ya now! Instead of working on bringing jobs to Florida, he is making good on his personal vandetta to make teacher unions pay for backing Obama. It is crazy for school districts to spend the money on comin up with a way to enforce merit pay and not have the state pay one dime to help pay for it. I have a nephew that was diagnosed with ADHD when he was in the 3rd grade. If his kindergarten thru 2nd grade teachers were paid according to his test scores, they would be on welfare because he was sent home because of his behavior two to three times a week. Test scores were horrible-had nothing to do with how good his teachers were. Teacher's are not allowed to recommend to parents that their child be put on medication for these disorders.
