The government is not in the employment business. They can /should

Does it make a difference whether the money comes out of my left pocket ot my right pocket? Federal taxes vs state taxes? Waste is waste no matter where it comes from. Frankly my dear I don’t give a damn if it takes the people an extra hour to get to Disney World.

I recently moved down here from Maryland and I still return fairly frequently to bring more of my belongings down; the amount of tractor trailers on the highways, day or night burning fuel is amazing, more trucks than cars. Let’s spend some money to beef up the freight carrying rail system and cut down on the amount of trucks on the road. Saving fuel is the name of the game today and we need a vibrant conventional rail system to do that.
