Ok, So now he is a war hero. I love our men and women in the armed service. But we just threw mud in their faces. The military did not teach him to behave like this. I know a man that got AIDS while in the army. Not in the line of duty though. Should we have a parade for this guy?. I don’t know what kind of help he needs, but I know that it should have happened a while back. What are the chances of making this guy a productive member of society? Or even safe the be around kids?

I would say this if it is true about him becoming this way while in the military then the VA would take care of it for them if someone would have tried to help him had they known. But the VA can not help him now and it very well may be he can not be helped in the future as they have passed some laws recently about helping known felons. I do think it depends on the level the felon is though. To bad if this is true it was not known before.

Pm and Bill both have valid views and both are understood but if the truth is that he became emotionally unbalanced while serving our country could there not be a better program to help him. I feel bad for him but understand the concerns of the community also.

I wouldn’t want him exposing himself to me or mine. He needs to be locked up somewhere. By the way, I’m told he became mentally disturbed while in the millatary.

Eleven times, or should we say, eleven victims too late. Eleven times, somebody dropped the ball. Eleven victims, somebody made the easy choice. Eleven more chances that many people don’t get. Twelve offences that can’t be undone….22 months. Make sure to write him a bleeding heart letter from time to time so that he don’t feel bad about himself.

Yes I do feel sorry for the victims and that is usually the people i pray for but this man is seriously disturbed and prison without treatment will just make him worse. take him home with me – No- but he will return to Century a worse person than he was before he left. If this man was a run of the mill thug who was just mean then i would agree with you 100% but he is mentally ill. I feel sorry for him just as I would any sick person – still as i said something had to be done and the Judge did her job as she should have.

This poor fellow, my aching foot!. I feel for his victims. There is a long list of dropped charges here, which tells me that he has had lots of help already. Pray for the children that he exposed himself too, and the person he beat up, and the family who he harrassed. What is going to happen 22 months from now? Take him home with you.

this poor fellow will not get any help in prison. Judge Shackelford made a very difficult decision. I feel sure it pained her to have to do this. However, really good mental health treatment (if one has no money) is almost no existent in the State of Florida. My heart goes out to him but something had to be done before someone got hurt. I never say this but this time I will – we all need to be praying for him.

Over a dozen arrests in one year? I sense a trend. Whether competent or not, we have to get him away from those kids. He can be insane, retarded, special, mean or something else, it does make him any less dangerous.
