People keep acting like Jesus’ words were always pleasant and sweet, but a big part of his message was they were on the wrong path and headed to hotter climes. Hatred, judgment untempered with mercy. Many say here what they would know was rude to say face to face but then they feel free to express the thought of the moment here, too.

I forget which President it was who said it but at least one stated it was good fro people to be free to speak because then the fools would be shown up.

I’m not sure it’s a herd mentality but the idea that people should comply with laws isn’t really evil as long as those laws don’t hurt others. I assume they have a hard time understanding people leaving some other place to come here to say our laws are stupid and only fit to be ignored. it’s not really bigotry as I see it.

and of course referred to Judas Iscariot as a devil:
“Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?” -John 6:70
(a sad case, did what was needed, somehow killed himself two different ways out of regret)

So the question might be: Were the names accurate?
Which rephrased would be: Was Jesus wrong?
