After all the snakebites people suffered in the area back in the fall though, I feel like we are safer because I know they won't be out slithering when it is so cold. My own dog was rattlesnake bitten, but I was able to get him medical attention that saved his life. After all, I feel like my dog took that snakebite for me. I welcome the cold air now.
