justme, I would like to think that you’re right. If so, they should have said it the way you did. I just can’t get that out of “promising progress” and “person of interest”. Thanks, I hope they get their man.

All the problems West of New Warrington road and Sunset Ave (off of Gulf Beach Hwy) started years ago when ECAT branched out to Fairfield Drive via Gulf Beach Hwy , Jackson Street and Lillian Hwy. Drug & Thugs!

Person of interest means someone they like for committing the crime and itsn’t a new term just used more with the media.Promising progress means they have evidence and information that they believe will solve the case. I hope that helps

When I was growing up Twin Oaks was upper middle class, where the people who had more money and nicer houses (than we did) lived. I had friends there.

There is hardly a home or neighborhood west of New Warrington and east of Blue Angel that hasn’t seen serious decline since the 70’s.

I remember when Elysian Fields and Tabaid Ln. off Fairfield were upper middle class subdivisions. Now…..

The apartments are very close to Corry Field, nestled on the hill between New Warrington Road going up to Jackson Street. It used to be a nice residential neighborhood. In the last years this area has deteriorated beyond repair. All the apartments are occupied by single moms with numerous male companions, drugs, etc. A very dangerous place to go – right outside of one of our military installations.

“person of interest ” is a fairly new term. I am wondering if it is a witness, a suspect or the good looking girl down the road. And what is “promising progress toward making an arrest”? Do they have any clues or leads? If we ask hard questions, they have to find answers.

Sure hope they catch who ever did this. I feel for the family. Here we have lost another young person from our society. I do not know her back ground but I’m sure she did nothing to warrant being killed by someone. It’s just a sad state of affairs.
