Giving pay raises with this would set the school district up for failure later when the money is gone and they cant sustain the raises given. The money should be used to improve the infrastructure of the school district like some of the schools that need additions to make room for students because of increased student populations in various locations. This would allow the district to stop putting so much money into modular buildings and get rid of some of those that were brought over when the Mayflower landed. Another idea...how about replacing the aged Ernest Ward Middle school with a facility with a new middle school. The best use for the money to give the best bang for the buck is the smart decision.
