Why didn’t the school board call the homes of the students who attend Pine Forest and give them a heads up? I would have rather found out by the school and not the local morning news.

I’m glad that this situation had a good ending. However, I do have a question. There seem to be several students posting that attend Pine Forest. Did the lockdown occur during English class? Teenager or adult, it doesn’t matter. If you want to be taken seriously, make sure it doesn’t look like a preschooler wrote your message.

if that other kid would have only minded his own business we would have not gone on lock down
we went on lock down the 5th and 6th wow!
and we went on lock down 1st period 2day
come on people ghet it together, get your facts from a student at pine forest we were actuall there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The robot did carry it to the parking where it exploded. Parents in the parking and students in the gym could both see it explode with their own eyes. I wouldn’t always believe a teenager over a news story, however I would believe reliable adult witnesses before a police report.

It was a computer membrane that was going to explode, someone did some faulty wiring on it an it was going to explode. The bomb squad had to take it in the parking and exploded it, a lot of the students heard it so I believe they didn’t hit it with water because no one saw them do it but whatever lol

Nothing was detonated. The item was hit with water cannon by the bomb squad just to make sure it was OK, as the story states.
