Could be. On the other hand what was written elsewhere included the statement he was being checked on every hour. What you heard and what I read can’t both be true. Either COULD be true for all I know at this point.

As to the claim epilepsy caused the blunt force trauma which killed him– It would be interesting if it just happened to hit him right after the accused hit him. Possible, but how likely does it strke you as being?

And does anybody really think they just put innocent people in jail for the vast amount of money the state provides for their incarceration and care? Okay, some believe it, but does it sound reasonable?

Everyone is missing the point here, its quite possible that what you hear isn’t what happened. It certainly sounds suspicious to me. The dead one had epilepsy, isnt it possible that he had a seisure and hurt his self and was denied appropiate medical care in jail? Left unattended in the infirmery for 5 hours is what I heard. SO we all hear things, There are some lousey things happening in that jailhouse and everytime it gets inspected nothing is ever found…. hmmm a good inspector will always find SOMETHING…….. need to be thinking about who gets all the money/ kickbacks on the so called phone system they have set up there too, what purpose that phone system is eludes me. ATT works just fine for everyone else. Why do we pay a private party to operate on ATT hardware? Did you know that the county gets money from the state for every person they put in jail? Just food for thought……….

That doesn’t seem to have worked out so well for others, does it? Maybe it’ll remind others to avoid needing to go to jail in the first place because not all of the other inmates are as good as you would wish.

Just goes to show that punching someone in the face CAN kill them. This is the second time this has happened recently. Maybe it should be murder and not manslaughter.

It’s usually a court related hold/charge. It can be a court issued warrant such as failure to appear, a revoked bond or even someone jailed after a conviction. There are a few other less common options I’ve seen.

Make him work…hard labor for the rest of his life ..and if he refuses…then absolute solitaire confinement…never to see the light of day or anyone except for the guards who hose him down every once in awhile. Scum of the earth deserves nothing better.

Totally agree, he needs to be kept in there. I’m for bringing back HARD labor to go with his hard time. It’s too easy on them these days. Like on vacation. He killed a man ova a samich?! Many countries have many laws… We should take a minute to check that out… might surprise us to see that those countries don’t have many out breaking the laws.

My condolences to the family Jon Gipson left behind. You are in our prayers.
