Ray is a good person, Drugs make you do things you never would otherwise. He does love his kids. Meth turns you into a Zombie! I hope he does his time and gets out clean and learns his lesson and leaves drugs alone so he can be with his kids again someday.

Sleeper,

That was a dreadful thing to say, almost as bad as how long and loudly I laughed when I read it.

I am further ashamed that I still smile when rereading it. I actually DO feel sorrow for those hurt by the man’s actions, but it is amazing how others tell how wonderful he is despite all he seems to have done and how it could have ended.

If people never recognize something is wrong, they will never see a need to set it right.

Concerned Parent…..
I think what sleeper meant was that everyone knows he had a meth lab.
Neighborhood, kids, kin, wife, police, and US.

If thats not infront of your wife and kids I don’t know what is and that
certainly affects them.

Nobody was home at the time it states that too…..but everyone knows what happened including YOU. If the children aren’t old enough to know why
they have a bad life now, they surely will soon.

Those who know Ray know that he was born into addiction, so let’s not play that game. OK?
As for having this in front of his kids, if Sleeper would bother to read the story, he would know that the wife and kids have not been living there so there was nothing to see. Hellooooo.

Ray has had a drug problem for a while now. This is not the first round by any means. He has been involved in this activity and this is not a “new” thing. As for him being so loving and caring, WHERE have you been? Domestic violence is common in that home. He HAS been in trouble before this and he has a bad problem with paying his bills. His kids have done without many times so that he could have his drugs.

Go ask around the community about Ray Love and his family. Maybe that will straighten out a few misconceptions here.

Interesting thought. Perhaps the Lord burned down the trailer to put him where He knows he belongs. This will surely give him time to consider all the verses he has memorized and what the Lord has been saying to him all along.

I am Raymond’s aunt. I am sorry that he has been caught operating a Meth Lab.
M own son is in prison for crimes due to a drug addiction. While it broke my heart, I think that prison has been good for him. He has changed his way of thinking and is finally taking responsibility for his actions. Before, he always wanted to blame everything and everyone else.
I believe in tough love. I have not been a constant in Ray’s life, due to a lot of reasons. mainly the fact that my husband was in the military and we live in numerous places and did not visit my grandmother much, and she raised Ray.
We all have to take responsibility for our lives. If someone has starving children and gets caught stealing bread, we can feel sorry for them. But, if Ray was indeed running a meth lab, then he had to know that if he got caught he would suffer the consequences. That being said, I do feel sorry for the children. From what I know of the family life, of recent times the family unit has been disfunctional.
All of that being said, we do need to pray for this family Ray included. God can intervene, and he always puts us where we need to be, wherever that may be. Perhaps jail is where Raymond needs to be, better that than be killed in a drug related incident. At least in jail the kids still have a Dad, dead they don’t. My prayers are with them thu this regardless of the outcome. It is not my place to judge neither is it anyone else’s.
Always remember, if God leads you to it, he can lead you thru it!

I cannot believe this has happened to Ray he is a good dad and he does love his children and he has always been a good guy, the kind of person you want to be around and want to know. This is absolutely unlike him to do anything like this and I am still in shock. I know that Ray had nothing to do with the trailer burning he wasn’t there and as for the motel incident I cannot imagine what happened there- this is not the Ray I know and have known since he was born-he was raised in a very christian environment and he had at a young age wanted to be a minister, he knows the bible verse for verse and I can only imagine that something evil got a hold of him if this is true. Again I have known Ray since he was born he is a family member, I know all of the good things about him and I wish this had not happened to him. I am praying for him and his children and I know the things in Ray’s life that changed recently had a lot to do with the path that this has taken him down and again the Ray that I used to know would never have done anything like this. People can talk about condoning his behavior but if you care about someone you see the good in them and I know there is a lot of good in Ray and this is heartbreaking to say the least- I wish I could have done something to help him if I had known I would have tried. He is not guilty yet people you can’t lynch mob someone, he is entitled to be innocent until proven otherwise. I love you Ray and if I can help you I will and I hope if nothing else this will jolt you back to realty and you will realize again that the most important thing is your children and the family that really cares about you not the fakes that helped bring you down this road of hell. Remember everyone that every person no matter what has family and friends that care about them no matter what they do wrong (we all know that right?) keep that in mind when you make comments about this.
