I recieved this response below back after sending him my e-mail. Maybe he is being flooded with e-mails and we are showing strength in numbers!

Okay…I just e-mailed Gov.Charlie Crist.

I think if we even have a fighting chance to win this battle, we need to send e-mails from the heart. We need him to see us as real people and how this law would impact our families lives and the hardships this law will place on us.

Their may be a enviromental problem that needs a solution, but one size fits all solution, is not the way to go!

It will not help the quality of life if folks can’t afford food because of what they’ll have to pay for the septic tank inspection/ repair/ or whatever. And, without food, they won’t need the septic tank. Sorry. Couldn’t resist.

Dont know if this will affect anything, but if everyone would send one it would give him an idea of his electability in the future… if he hasnt figured it out by now……. Not only that Im sure many folks would cover the subject better than I.

Mr. Christ: With all due respect, an owner of a septic tank knows if there is a problem with their tank, believe me….regular inspections and pumping are important to the property owner, so they have them done….But to have the government tell them when and by whom is absurd in this nation…….. To impose such a law is an anti american act, especially at a time that our economy is in such trouble…… Not to mention the funds it would put in the pockets of the companies that would be doing the inspections…… Truly I am sure you are aware of all these would be obstacles for the populace. Further more what manner of inforcement is to be used to conduct this process… If the owner could not afford the inspections would they be forced from their homes, their water shut off? Well that certainly would cause a financial burden to the state if they have to forgo their homes…..Consideration to the fact that the impact of homes that could not be sold as buyers would not want to deal with the expense and issue of inspection would be a scandalous impact on realestate. This law impacts much much more than protecting our waterways…………………
