I hope everything goes well with her and she has a speedy recovery! Someone on here said she had a fractured pelvis, I hope that is all she had!!! Samantha was released from the hospital on Sunday night. She will be on a walker for four to six weeks. Long recovery. Angels on assignment.

Speeding and the width are both main factors for this happening on this road! The road is too narrow and then when you have a speeding vehicle that is driven by someone who can’t keep control this is what happens! I have been run off this road at least four times by people that can’t stay in their own lane. Twice in one day! I avoid this road and go all the way around and get on Hwy 29 to 97 if I’m heading up that way. When I’m forced to drive on it I slow way down when a car is coming toward me so that “if” I have to leave the road I will survive!

My mother was alomst hit head on by a dump truck on this road a few years ago, I have lived my whole life here, and the traffic has trippled in the last ten years. I guess that nothing will be done about these narrow rough worn out roads until a county commisioner or one of their close friends move out here! I guess that there are not enough $300,000 to warrant the expense, like there is on the west end of Barrineau Park rd. These roads destroy tires, and front end parts of every vehicle that travels down it, we the citizens need to ban together and demand that actions be taken to correct this situation!

I traveled this road about 2 hours before this accident and passed a car head on about the same spot and ran partially off the road myself. I do not drink and was not on the cell phone . This road is too narrow, in need of repair and has alot of curves. Please be “extra careful” if you have to use this roadway, especially after dark.

I live on this road also. One problem with Hwy 99 is the road is too narrow. It has ruts ,washouts,etc…. This road is traveled by loggers and ,numerous times they have ran me off the road…This road should have been on top of the list for repaving 10+years ago…

I seen a Trooper out there this Saturday evening getting the semi off the road. I am glad the highway patrol come got that busted truck out of there before someone got killed.
