David and others,

He was in possession of photographs of children as young as 10 months and as old as 10, some of them engaged in sexual acts. For some reason, they didn’t see fit to tell the public that.

When the home was raided, they used two SWAT teams, DCF, ICE, etc. The big panel truck pulled into one of the neighboring yards and out poured all these men in fatigues with machine guns drawn. They surrounded the house and searched it and a neighboring home. They stupidly let this idiot leave because he told them that he had to “go buy the day’s supply of ice cream” and THEY LET HIM GO!!!!! It was a couple of weeks later that they said that was who they had decided had done the crime.

And regardless of how old he will be upon his release, I don’t want him near me or mine.

Unless I missed something, it is not reported that he molested any children. Supposedly he possessed material showing it being done, so you might say he indirectly paid to have it done, but still . . . (In Muslim countries, it might even have been status quo photography, don’t know the ages involved.)

I think the thing in our minds is that we associate ice cream trucks with children. Some ice cream trucks don’t even sell to children, just transport ice cream to stores, but I’m assuming such was not the case here.

Anyway, the gentleman is 58. In fifteen years he will be 73 and anybody who cares will be able to keep up with his whereabouts, so he’s not likely to be as dangerous as some seem to fear.

what is it with men and ice cream trucks molesting children? I guess this is their way of enticing them to their truck. A good family or a good man couldn’t even start an ice cream truck business because all fo them already have a TAG on them of what they are and what they are about. Everytime i hear the songs playing on one in our area, i think, here comes the ________ (you fill in the line!)

This fellow would apparently be more of a looker—not a doer. He was charged with being in possession of kiddie porn—not messing with a child himself. I well understand that the photos and so on that the lookers like have to be made some where and causes a child to be hurt. RANDY–castration does not work most times–the people who do this sort of thing will use “objects” to harm the victim. There was a write-up in the paper a few days ago about a state passing a law that ban films of women killing small animal by stepping on the animal with their high heels. There must be a market for this sort of crap. I guess it falls in the same category as “golden showers” and so on.
